This module describes the components of the RN Reentry Online Program and includes the process to follow prior to re-entering the field of nursing. This process includes completing at least 24 online modules that make up the core curriculum and participating in the clinical practicum component of the program. Guidelines for RNs with an active license who have been away from nursing for over 3-5 years and RNs who have an inactive license will be discussed. Please note that you will need to access information regarding the Ohio Law and Rules Category A requirements on the Ohio Board of Nursing website. For all other states it is imperative that you contact your State Board of Nursing to review specific requirements to reactivate your license.
